After our recent road trip to neighbouring Victoria, we received a wonderful parcel in the mail from a group of six and seven year-olds in Mrs. Scheer's Grade One class at Wishart Elementary, in Sooke. There was an individual piece of art from each student in the class. As well as that, there was a special book put together featuring another piece of art from each student. The book was cleverly assembled using brown paper lunch bags, and in the pockets created in the pages were little notes from each student about what The Buddy System meant to them. It was all done up with a nice cover and tied with a piece of cloth.

That was it! We had to give them our Grand Prize - a Class Pizza Party! Congratulations.
